Veterinarians and Technicians
These are two Immersive Days of Detailed Instructions to Give You the Skills to Master Dental Extractions.
Veterinarians Only
The Essential Wet Lab is an Introductory Dentistry course that focuses on the training of the Vet and Tech alone or the Veterinarian-Technician team to become familiar with various procedures and clinical aspects of veterinary dentistry. This course will eliminate the frustrations with case management, dental radiographic technique positioning and interpretation, periodontal care, and nerve blocks, among others.
Although you may attend as a vet or a tech alone, we recommend that your Veterinarian/Technician dentistry service team take this course together for maximum value and impact for your hospital and your patients.
The Extraction Wet Lab is the brand new version of our past Extraction Wet Lab and builds on the knowledge and skills from the Essential Wet Lab. Upon registration, you get 5 hours of RACE-approved video instruction to access immediately and master prior to coming to the actual lab. The Extraction Wet Lab then utilizes that knowledge to provide two days of clinical wet lab instruction to round out the skills needed by veterinarians to excel in veterinary dentistry in general practice.
The new Extraction Wet Lab takes the lecture from the past labs and puts it into a 5-hour RACE accredited course that you access immediately and is yours to keep and refer back to for life. This is a prerequisite to be completed before Saturday, day one.
This allows us to provide a new level of practical, mostly hands-on instruction on Saturday that we couldn’t give previously. This leaves all day on Sunday for nothing but hands-on dog and cat extractions utilizing the skills that you have acquired from the Essential Wet Labs, the 5-hour online course, and Saturday’s clinical instruction and lab.
Not only do you get 4 more hours of CE than in the previous format (20 vs. 16), you have much more hands-on time in the wet lab. You also keep the 5-hour online course that, before, was the lecture provided throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Cancellations are accepted 31 days or more prior to the event. Transfers to future dates are accepted 30 days or less prior to the event. Last-minute transfers are subject to a $450 transfer fee.
Please email Jen directly for any cancellation/transfer inquiries at jen@ivdi.org. Jen sends you a confirmation email following your purchase.
