FIND OUT WHY
This patient is a 10 year old American Bulldog neutered male that presented a week ago for swelling in his mouth. A coworker saw him at that time, prescribed antibiotics (clavamox) and nsaids and recommended a COHAT which would include rads. Recheck today showed the area to be markedly reduced in size but still present. I told them we need to get dental rads, possibly extract diseased teeth, biopsy the gingiva +/- the bone in the area depending on what we find.
I'm curious if this gross appearance rings a bell for anyone in the group? Have you seen something similar? If so, what did it turn out to be? Thanks
