Please share any thoughts about what can be done to help this kitty! This is an older kitty who had 309 and 409 extracted 2 weeks ago by another vet at my hospital. I saw her last week for not eating. The salivary glands were swollen. Gave sc fluids, mirtazipine, and had her give more buprenex. Kitty did great for the next few days but then went downhill again. I saw her today and the pictures are from today's visit. Salivary glands are more swollen now and she is not eating again. Please don't judge but I put her on pred. Not sure what other good options there are. She already was on onsior and that didn't help. What can be done? Are steroids a bad idea? Referral for salivary gland sx???
