Nibbler is a 5 yo DSH MN who I saw 9/12/16 for a COHAT. At that time I noted the gingiva above 104 and 204 was inflamed, with an ulcerative lesion on the mucosa above each tooth. The rest of his mouth had very mild gingivitis. The owner has been applying Maxiguard gel daily for the past 2 months. I saw him for a recheck this week and the gingiva looks worse. I've included a recent photo and radiographs of the upper K9s. (104 started out looking worse but now 204 looks just as bad). I figure this is just a focal stomatitis but wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on how to manage it. The owner is willing to do something daily in his mouth, though brushing is a challenge. Thanks!
