Essential Surgical Extraction Techniques is a prerequisite for the Extraction Wet Lab. Once registered you will have immediate lifetime unlimited access to the step by step videos that are to be viewed before you attend this course.
The Veterinary Dental Extraction Wet Lab provides veterinarians the opportunity to perform surgical extractions and surgical root tip retrieval from Dr. Brett Beckman, board certified veterinary dentist and world renowned teacher and speaker. In conjunction with the prerequisite Essential Surgical Extraction Techniques, upon completion of this Wet Lab, veterinarians will have the practice and skills needed to perform efficient extractions using proper technique to maximize patient care and minimize anesthesia time.
Learn the latest techniques to facilitate less traumatic extractions by utilizing mucoperiosteal flaps, line angle incisions, sectioning, bone removal, bone contouring and suturing. Two participants will share a high speed system and each will have his/her own instruments and canine cadaver specimen. If you have magnification loupes it is recommended that you bring them. Lunch is provided. Attendance is limited to the first 18 registrants. This program is intended to provide 7 hours of RACE accredited continuing education
