*** LEVOBUPIVACAINE ***

We have been fortunate to have been able to obtain Maracain polyamps for some time [bupivacaine hydrochloride 0.5% solution]. However, our supply appears to have dried up for the foreseeable future.

My wholesaler has supplied me with Chirocaine [5mg/ml, i.e. 0.5% solution levobupivacaine]. Does anyone have any experience of using this drug, and, if so, can it be combined in the same syringe as lidocaine? Is it likely that the ratio of 4:1 is going to be the same?
