I'm hoping for a little advice! I did a cleaning on a 21 month old Belgian Malinois police dog today and found this. 302 is discolored (possibly dead?)and it looks like she has tooth gemination of 301-302.

What is the best course of action for her? The department does not want to extract the tooth. The handler asked about capping. I thought root canal might be an option, but the single root has me wondering.

This would be a referral to a dental specialist, as anything other than extraction I leave to the experts!
