I would be grateful for your help with case that involves a 6-year-old neutered Boxer bitch, Evie.
Evie has generalised gingival hyperplasia, and evidence of periodontal disease associated with the mandibular M2 teeth on each side.
The photo of tooth 410 demonstrates this, and, apart from a surgical extraction to access the fractured root tip, does anyone have any other tips for extracting this tooth.
Finally, I have attached a photo of the mandibular incisor teeth and their radiograph. The gingival hyperplasia is asymptomatic around these teeth. Is a gingivectomy necessary?
