Veterinary Dentistry Dental Cases

I was hoping for an opinion on these rads.

I was hoping for an opinion on these rads.

This is a FS DMH DOB 7/2008 (est). She presented for a dental today. Heavy calculus on her teeth. On exam I had noted extrusion and mild bone expansion on 104 and 204.

At the dental there was attachment loss on the palatal aspect of 104 (3 – 4 mm) and 204 (2 mm) and a pocket of 104 (3 mm) and 204 (2 mm). Focal gingivitis was also present.

304 and 404 had bilaterally symmetrical wear at the mesial surface (facing the incisors) that did not enter into the pulp cavity, and she showed no sign of pain on exam. the tooth was normal in color. (it looks like cage chewing in a dog….)

308… the tech said she would occasionally chatter on the cleaning, but on my exam (even after cleaning) she did not. when I probed the area it was smooth (more like a FE1 than a TR lesion), but I'm concerned it may be resorption. 208 for comparison

So I'm looking for an opinion on 204, 304/404 and 308.

I extracted all mandibular incisors and 104 today.

thanks!
