Veterinary Dentistry Dental Cases

Hi Guys

Hi Guys,

I saw Jessie – an 8-year-old Golden Retriever neutered bitch – on Friday because the owners had noticed this intraoral swelling.

The soft tissue mass does not appear to be affecting her, and the owners think that it fluctuates in size. The remainder of the PE was normal. The dog receives thyroxine supplementation for a previously diagnosed hypothyroidism.

I have scheduled her to come in on Monday for intraoral radiographs of the mass and a wedge biopsy, Would any of you do anything different such as FNAB the SMLN and chest radiographs or is that too premature?

I look forward to reading your thoughts.

With best wishes,

David
