HELP!

HELP!

“Captain” is a humane society kitten (about 5-6 months) who showed up as a stray. He was brought in for his eye (not existent anymore), and I saw his mouth.

He has had a chronic nasal discharge which turned out to be from the O/N fistula from 204.

I took him to surgery on Friday 2/17 and removed 604 and 204. the defect was large. I undermined tissue back to distal 207 and to mesially to midline and up to cheek margin. THere was not tension on closure, but closure was over defect, which I was pretty sure would dehisce…but I had no choice but to try.

Despite ecollar (attempts) it dehisced 3 days later…I was hoping that it would have left smaller defect for me to fix…but it is still large.

How should I go about fixing this? the mucosa is so thin..

I have xrays as well that I can post if needed, but not sure they are necessary. My plan is to try again this Friday…
