Veterinary Dentistry Dental Cases

Heard a new one today.

Heard a new one today… the halitosis (that I could smell from 6 feet away) is from “stomach heat” that was caused by the horrible change in pH in her dog following its surgery.. (which I later realized the surgery was the SPAY she had me do a few years ago)… right lady, it couldn’t possibly be due to the large palatal defect on 208 caused after an antler was stuck in her mouth, and none of the teeth ground down are possibly affected by periodontal disease with pulp exposure… sigh it was a long day today.. stomach heat…. hmm luckily it is being treated with acupuncture…
