Discoloured teeth

Recently saw this discoloured tooth #103, which is most likely to be the result of blunt trauma.

I have advised the owner that the tooth needs to be radiographed to assess the root.

My question is that if the root is unremarkable, then, is it justified to treat the tooth?

My treatment for this tooth would be extraction as it is not a strategic tooth.

I find it difficult to justify extraction if it is asymptomatic, and there is only discolouration.

What are your thoughts?
