Veterinary Dentistry Dental Cases

Dear Colleagues

Dear Colleagues,

I would be very grateful for your help with this case that involves a 9-year-old Border terrier neutered bitch called Misty.

She was seen by us for the first time in October 2014. Apparently she had worn her canine teeth by 2-years-old, and had had root canal treatments performed on the lower canine teeth.

The owner had complained to his previous vet about her having severe halitosis for two years and nothing had been done.

A full mouth radiographic series was carried out by my colleague in March – owner follow ups have been haphazard – and multiple extractions recommended.

I have attached the radiographs of the mandibular teeth, and would like to read your thoughts relating in particular to teeth 304, 309 & 409.

With best wishes, David
