Morning Session: This is practical program for the veterinary technician interested in learning more about veterinary dentistry and expanding the scope of the dentistry services in their practices. Subjects include important conditions you need to know, increasing dentistry compliance, what you can do to take dentistry to the next level in your practice, oral examination and charting, intro to nerve blocks and pain management, intro to dental radiology, talking to owners about periodontal disease and an overview of veterinary dental products and equipment.
Afternoon Session: This hands on lab provides the veterinarian and veterinary technician a simplified approach to obtaining quality dental radiographs without the traditional steep learning curve.  Utilizing Dr. Beckman’s Veterinary Dental Radiographic Positioning Guide participants will learn technique and positioning for creating quick and easy full mouth dental radiographic series in dogs and cats.

Attendance is limited to the first 16 registrants. This program is intended to provide 7 hours of accredited continuing education. Dr. Beckman’s radiographic positioning guide, lecture slides and lunch are provided.
