This lecture and wet lab is the most practical course available. Focus on gross and radiographic anatomy and physiology of the oral cavity as it relates to periodontal pathology, subgingival curettage, closed root planing, envelope and releasing flaps for open root planing, perioceutic and synthetic bone placement, case approaches to periodontal disease and treatment planning. Learn the latest techniques to facilitate less traumatic extractions by utilizing mucoperiosteal flaps, line angle incisions, sectioning, bone removal, bone contouring and suturing.

Lecture and wet lab are conducted in the Institute of Technical Arts where each participant has his/her own high speed delivery system and equipment. Lunch is provided. Attendance is limited to the first 14 registrants. This program is intended to provide 15 hours of RACE accredited continuing education
