Dentigerous Cyst Secondary to Unerupted Maxillary Canine Tooth in a Cat

This is a 2 year old domestic short haired cat that presented with a dramatic oral mass adjacent to a missing maxillary canine tooth.  Radiographs revealed an unerupted canine tooth and an expansile dentigerous cyst.  Surgical removal of the tooth and the cyst required caudal and medial extension into the maxillary recess adjacent to the 4th premolar and suborbital bone.
