Hi Dr. Beckman, I was looking for an Excel chart to calculate lido/bupi dosages based on body weight to use for our cases. I found one for ring blocks on VASG.org but wanted a dental specific chart that also includes an opioid. If you have one, I would love a copy or I’ll try a get one together myself. Thanks for your time.

Hi Dr Jordan,
Quick rule of thumb that is even beter than that is 0.2 ml of lid to 0.8 ml bupiv per 10 # for your max dose. Volumes to be infused are 0.2-1.6 ml per site from kitten to large dog. The above link has some articles I have done for DVM Newsmagazine. Among them is an article about nerve blocks. Please let me know if you have questions.
Take care,
Brett
